Christmas Crafts

Our classroom was full of festive cheer today as children — together with their parents — spent the afternoon creating handmade Christmas tree decorations! 🧵⭐

The children proudly used their sewing skills and it was lovely to see families working side-by-side, stitching, designing, and sharing in the holiday spirit. The ornaments turned out beautifully and the smiles said it all.

A huge thank-you to all the parents who joined us and made the afternoon even more special! ❤️🎅

Stitching Up a Colourful Rainforest!

Check out 5HJ’s rainforest-themed soft toys—bursting with vibrant colors and creativity! Not only are these cuddly creatures adorable but they’re also sewn by our talented children. The children’s sewing skills really shine through, making each toy extra special. Perfect for sparking joy and learning about the rainforest!

The Gift of Giving

After selling academic calendars from our previous expedition, Fight For Your Rights, and hosting a bake sale, Year 5 & 6 students raised over £600 to support not one, but two local food bank charities!

A huge thank you to all the parents, students, and everyone involved for making this happen. Your hard work and generosity are helping provide food for families in need within our community.

Supporting our local charity

Yesterday, we welcomed an extra special visitor into school. Kath is a local volunteer who gives up her time to support UK charities in and around Doncaster including the homeless, food banks and women’s refuge. We presented Kath with the toiletries which were purchased by the money raised from Yr 5s bake sale back in August. She was a true inspiration to both adults and children and we have pledged to continue to support through the year.
