As plane as day…

…is the amount of awesome work that our pupils have done this last week. Here is just a selection of superb models of WW2 aircraft skillfully crafted using just lollipop sticks and glue. They now hang proudly on our y3/4 corridor ready to engage in a dog fight with enemy aircraft . Here, we remember the words of Churchill when referring to the exploits of the RAF during the battle of Britain: Never has so much, been owed by so many to so few.

“Lest We Forget” Hook Week

This week year three have started their expedition learning all about World War Two. Y3 have produced beautiful artwork of a skyline during the Blitz, watched Bedknobs and Broomsticks, learned all about how World War Two started and created aiplanes out of lollipop sticks. It is fair to say we are now fully immersed in our autumn expedition and can’t wait to find out more next week!

Deadeye dunkers.

PE is back! Thankfully we managed to escape the rain this week and make the most of the clement weather to hone our throwing and catching skills. Handball is our autumn focus sport and I reckon we’ll be pretty awesome at it come the unit end. The kids certainly impressed during their maiden session. Keep it up everyone..
