Year 3 were very excited to be joined by dancers from the Royal Ballet this morning as we continued with our Chance To Dance programme. The children danced in role – choosing to be either Odette or Rothbart, the main characters from Swan Lake. We learned all about different types of movement and jumps, dancing at different levels and using facial expression to convert feelings. It is wonderful to see how far the children have progressed since beginning this programme and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
