Myself and the children have been very entertained this week. This is because of the fantastic play scripts that the children have written based on the famous puppet show, ‘Punch and Judy’. The quality and standard yet again has been excellent and the work submitted has really put a smile on the faces of the staff and children.
Something else to smile about is the return of all children to school from next Monday. I am looking forward to seeing you all.
(Mr Punch was looking around the zoo for some interesting animals. Mr Punch saw a pond but before he knew it an enormous crocodile came out of the pond and splashed Mr Punch.)
Mr Punch:(Yells) CROCODILE!
(Mr Punch runs off stage as fast as he can with the crocodile chasing after him).
Judy: (turning around) Where has Mr Punch gone now?
(Mr Ppunch enters back on stage with the crocodile clinging onto his bum with his teeth)
Judy: Where have you been?
Mr Punch: I was looking at the animals and then this happened!
(Mr Punch turns around to show Judy the crocodile on his bum)
Mr Punch: (Shouts) Go away mean crocodile!
Judy: How did you get a crocodile on your bum?
Mr Punch: He sneaked up behind me, I must taste nice because he won’t let go. Help me get him off.!
Judy: Turn around and iI’ll pull him off
(Mr Punch turns around and Judy tries to pull the crocodile off)
