On Thursday 15th April, 4GC, along with 4KC and both year 3 classes, embarked on an 8 mile trek to Brockadale Nature Reserve as part of hook week for our summer Expedition: Take a Walk on the Wild Side. It was an brilliant day and we were treated to some amazing weather, beautiful landscapes but most of all resilient, aspirational and inspiring young people. Our Expedition will subsequently take us on a further 5 walks, the culmination being a trip to Castleton where we will scale the peak Mam Tor. Our celebration of learning will take the guise of a trip to Campsall Park, where we will invite families for a picnic and unveil our Expedition product which is a local walking guide for our community – sold at a modest price on the day. Happy rambling everyone!
